2 April 2020: Service Update

Citizens Advice East End have seen a high demand for our support from local residents with employment problems, welfare benefits issues and debt problems, including residents facing challenges to access food provision.

Waiting times for support:

  • Our email advice service – all enquiries are addressed within 24 hours.
  • Our text ‘Help’ to 07860041410 – all enquiries receive a call back within 24 hours.
  • Our Adviceline 0203 855 4472 receives over 250 calls a day. The high demand means we cannot answer all calls. We are striving to respond to as many calls as possible.

Since we moved to phone and digital support on the 18th March 2020, as a result of Covid-19, Citizens Advice East End has helped local residents with more than 2,000 issues.

We are working hard to help as many residents as we can. Unfortunately the need for our help exceeds our current capacity.
