Research and Campaigns
Our team consists of one Research and Campaigns Coordinator and five amazing volunteers who are working part-time throughout the week.
Meet Luca, one of our Research and Campaign Volunteers.
Our Work: Research
We monitor data and analyse data trends from Hackney, Newham and Tower Hamlets. Every two months we publish reports highlighting our work across the three boroughs to help raise awareness of the issues and trends we identify as well as the impact our services make.
We are also involved in a range of research projects throughout the year that help us better understand the needs of our service users and the issues and challenges they face.
Our highlights reports provide a snapshot of the issues we have been supporting and any emerging trends we have seen from the data. We share client stories to provide an insight of the work our advisers do to support clients who often have very complex cases.
We produce reports for each borough we work in: Hackney, Newham and Tower Hamlets.
Our Work: Campaigns
We regularly take part in and support the national Citizens Advice team with campaigns. We also raise awareness through social media. Some of our recent campaigns are:
- Keep the £20 Universal Credit uplift campaign
- Cost of Living Crisis
- Energy Saving Week
- National Consumer Week
- Pension Credit Awareness
- And much more!
Winter Crisis Campaign
With the cost of living increase, people need more than just advice. Too many people are having to make the unimaginable choice of whether to eat or to keep warm. Over the winter, we launched our campaign to raise urgent funds to provide better options and finances to those most in need.
